Aliando o estímulo a práticas sustentáveis com o incentivo ao desenvolvimento dos jovens profissionais das áreas de design de interiores, decoração e paisagismo, o Lar Center e parceiros, durante movimentado coquetel, entregaram os troféus aos 54 trabalhos selecionados, entre mais de 1300 inscritos.

O conceito de "sustentabilidade" se insere em todos os ramos da atividade humana. A idéia é legar às futuras gerações um planeta com qualidade de vida ao menos equivalente à atual. Para isso é necessário rever práticas de consumo. Com esse espírito a organização do projeto Jovens Profissionais - que já atinge o seu 10º ano de realização, usou o mote: "Design para um mundo melhor". Os proponentes levaram requisitos como reciclagem de materiais, origem certificada e acessibilidade, para conquistar pontos e serem escolhidos pelos 13 jurados.


Amigos, familiares e lojstas compareceram ao evento de premiação.

Outra proposta é auxiliar a inserção dos profissionais em início de carreira no mercado. Sendo o Lar Center um shopping especializado em móveis e decoração, foi natural que as instalações propostas ocupassem as próprias lojas, permitindo um diálogo entre os jovens e o varejo.

Kendy Deguchi, 28 anos, faz o curso de Design de Interiores no Senac. Seu trabalho foi um dos dois escolhidos na categoria estudante, e teve a honra de ter o seu trabalho exposto ao lado do espaço de eventos, na noite da premiação. Conciliando o tema da Copa do Mundo 2010, ele disse que "a proposta foi criar um ambiente universal, sem barreira para o usuário com restrições motoras". Uma cadeira de rodas foi usada em sua instalação. Kendy é morador da Casa Verde, ZN.
