Sob as bênçãos do padre João Luiz Miqueletti, a distrital Norte da Associação Comercial de SP completou 60 anos com uma missa na igreja de Santana. As palavras do padre prestaram uma homenagem ao comércio, que permite o intercâmbio do trabalho de todos, em nome do crescimento e do desenvolvimento do ser humano.

Se no começo dos tempos o trabalho era visto como um castigo, como um fardo, depois a humanidade refletiu sobre isso e mudou, disse o padre João Luiz, que lembrou que Jesus era carpinteiro, e que se mudou de Nazaré para Cafarnaum para poder trabalhar. "Jesus abençoou o trabalho humano", disse o padre.
João Bico de Souza, diretor superintendente da distrital, ao final da missa afirmou: "É um prazer inenarrável dar continuidade a esse trabalho de 60 anos da distrital Norte. Temos muitos projetos para 2012, e viemos pedir a Deus ajuda para trazer resultados para a Zona Norte".
