SANTANA PODERÁ ABRIGAR TODA A IMPRENSA NA COPA 2014

O portal acompanhou no auditório da prefeitura a apresentação do vídeo institucional que propõe o Parque do Anhembi como sede do CIT - Centro Internacional de Transmissão da Copa do Mundo 2014. A expectativa é de que a cidade receba mais de 3.000 jornalistas e técnicos do mundo todo. São Paulo concorre com Brasília e Rio de Janeiro para a instalação do CIT.

Com a presença do prefeito Kassab e do governador Alckmin, o presidente da SPTuris, Caio Luiz de Carvalho relatou com otimismo as qualidades do Parque do Anhembi para abrigar o gerenciamento de toda a imprensa que vai cobrir a Copa de 2014. Entre elas estão a proximidade dos aeroportos (Cumbica, Congonhas e Campo de Marte), o auditório Elis Regina, o pavilhão de exposições, e especialmente, a existência ali de um dos maiores hotéis do Brasil, com 780 quartos.
Um "book" com todas as informações e o vídeo de seis minutos será entregue no dia 31/01ao Comitê Organizador Local da FIFA, que vai decidir qual cidade vai receber o CIT - Centro Internacional de Transmissão. O comitê paulista para a Copa 2014 é presidido por Emanuel Fernandes, que é secretário estadual do Planejamento e esteve na apresentação.

@ O Congresso costuma acontecer na cidade que recebe a partida inaugural. Os impasses relativos ao estádio paulistano para a primeira partida da Copa (precisaria ter no mínimo 65 mil lugares) ainda não permitiram a confirmação oficial dessa partida, com o Brasil em campo, na capital paulista.
@ Além do grande hotel dentro do Anhembi, o vídeo apontou uma série de hotéis localizados na Zona Norte, que poderiam receber as equipes de imprensa.
@ Esse hotel no Anhembi ficou inacabado por quase 30 anos, e era conhecido como o "esqueleto do Anhembi". Só foi concluído e inaugurado em 2004.
