A 3° Mostra Cultural, celebrada pela Associação de Mulheres Amigas de Jova Rural (AMA/JR), mostrou o trabalho de alunos entre 10 e 70 anos, e coincidiu com a realização do 4° Encontro de Jovens Mulheres Jaçanã/ Tremembé, realizado pelo Centro da Juventude (CJ) Helena Portugal.

190 pessoas compareceram à Mostra Cultural da AMA/JR. O evento contou com a apresentação de alunos do grupo de Libras (língua para deficientes auditivos), apresentação de Tai Chi Chuan (arte marcial utilizada para meditação em movimento) e outras atividades.
O público no CJ foi miscigenado. Apesar da comemoração ser um encontro de "Jovens Mulheres", as apresentações atraíram também homens interessados nas palestras e outras atividades como a capoeira.

As atividades realizadas pelas duas entidades visam a mesma idéia, ajudar a comunidade local. Os órgãos públicos normalmente se fazem presentes através de incentivos à ONG e entidades de ajuda pública, pelo difícil acesso ao local, e/ou até mesmo por não conhecer a necessidade dos habitantes como as próprias entidades.
