O Colégio Nova Cachoeirinha comemorou 30 anos com uma grande festa, em que o destaque ficou para o lançamento do livro "30 Anos Colégio Nova Cachoeirinha - O Ensino Como Deve Ser", com textos e poesias escrito por alunos de todas as séries.

O evento teve show da banda A Lenda do Rock, feira de livros da editora Saraiva e oficina de marcador de livros. No auditório aconteceu a leitura de uma poesia feita por dois jovens, que representavam os 1.200 alunos. Representando o corpo de funcionários, uma professora fez a leitura de uma poesia comparando o CNC a um trem e à modernidade das coisas. Alunos do 3º colegial produziram um vídeo com depoimentos de funcionários e familiares, em homenagem à tia Tina, como é carinhosamente conhecida Matilde Cerrone, diretora e mantenedora do CNC. Ela recebeu uma placa de homenagem ao aniversário, que passou nas mãos de todos que trabalham na escola.

O Colégio tem um moderno teatro que, segundo tia Tina, está sempre de portas abertas à comunidade e sempre que possível oferecem shows e peças. "O que a gente leva dessa vida são as amizades, as mensagens que você deixa e o ensino, que pretendemos sempre melhorar", concluiu.

Segundo Paulo Riani, idealizador e coordenador do projeto Escola Escreve, o objetivo é incentivar as crianças e adolescentes na leitura e na escrita de forma inovadora, e a valorização da criatividade dos jovens. O projeto já atua em cerca de cem escolas, inclusive em Portugal, e cada uma trabalha em cima de um tema. No CNC o tema foi o aniversário do colégio.

Aluno do 1º Médio, Klaus Melim, de 15 anos, foi um dos alunos que participou da criação do livro e contou que a professora coordenou a dinâmica e todos contribuíram. "É uma alegria agora que está pronto", disse Klaus. Os alunos da 8ª série disseram que foi tudo organizado, e que estão orgulhosos de ter participado.
